ABANDON ALL HOPE
"Adversity is the first path to truth."   Lord Byron

Abandon all hope, you who believe that New Zealand is a democracy.  You have been conned for many years, and probably don't know the difference between commonsense and idiocy.  Because untruths, called political convenience, is destroying your life and will continue to do so until you are little more than a slave to the system.  You get up in the morning, go to work, perform a pointless job, then go home and watch the politicians telling you how to run your life.  If you believe implicitly in self honesty, you will understand what I am saying.  If you just accept political utterings as gospel, you are a fully qualified member of the Jackass Mentality.  You deserve everything that happens to you.  And it will.  You will probably die with more debt than you ever imagined.

Have you ever wondered why the credit card companies offer just about everyone seemingly endless credit?  The 19% interest they earn is one thing but the system demands your indebtedness to keep the economy ticking over.  Did you realise that in the last few years, your wages have dropped 55% in real terms?  That's right, 55%.  The credit cards are merely devices to enslave you and your income into purchasing items you don't really need.

Have you ever considered how much of your income and expenditure winds up in
government coffers?  Try the minimum of 84%.  It's unbelievable, isn't it?  But sadly it's
true.  You are actually working your butt off for a trivial 16% of your wages.  The rest is
sitting in the government's bank which is owned by overseas investors.  Do you understand that government have many billions stashed away and are at the same time denying funds to important services like hospitals and education?  Is this government showing that they have the best interest of the people at heart?  You work it out.

I'll bet you didn't know that more people are dying waiting for medical treatment than ever
before.  That's right.  They're dying because of the apparent lack of funds.  The government is filthy rich but real poverty is increasing hand over fist.  Did you read about the fourteen-year-old boy who had to walk 15 kilometres to school because he didn't have the bus fare? His parents had no food in the house and the boy fainted from hunger in the classroom.  Yet Godzone is supposed to be a rich country with a booming economy.  Unfortunately the unemployment figures are manipulated to suit the Beehive convenience.  If you're honest with yourself, you will have cottoned on to this reality years ago.  But are you burying your head in the sand?

Those on the average wage and below, saving for retirement is impossible.  Don't forget that the interest rate on your mortgage has increased five or six times in the last year.  Makes a hell of a difference, doesn't it?  That's less you have available to spend on essentials like food and clothing.  Have you noticed the galloping cost of electricity?  Your power bill had increased 500% in the last few years, yet your real wage has dropped.  Doesn't make sense, does it?  The extorted profit doesn't even stay in NZ.  It gets paid to offshore investors that own most of NZ's infrastructures.  When power generation was NZ owned, heating and lighting your home was affordable.  There's a big difference between $50 every two months and $200 for one month.

Corporate greed encouraged by government is the real cause of poverty.  You don't matter in the scheme of things.  The only thing government want is your money.  The only way you're going to survive financially is by saying
NO to the politicians.  At the last count, five or six have been stood down while being investigated for fraud and so on.  Haven't they done well for a bunch of 'we are more intelligent than thou?'

New Zealand is a lovely country and could once again be a worthwhile place in which to
grow old.  But it's up to you to restore a little sanity in the system.  You're suffering because you voted for the Beehive Drones, didn't you?  The first step on the path to truth is never easy.  But conquering adversity creates inner strength.  Surely your life is worth a little effort?

But if you insist on being an unthinking slave to the system, don't drag the rest of us down to your level.  Some of us don't want to live in a dictatorship.
