It's the system, so there!

means."

Calling New Zealand "Godzone" is a misnomer.  It belong to neither God nor the people that inhabit the land of counterfeit tranquillity.  Like Brahnism in India, the born to rule elite
occupy the corridors of power.  While not religious fanatics, they follow Darwin's theory that
they are born superior and developed the "system" to suit their own agenda.  Their
personified arrogance that 'we know better' than the untouchables who consist of about 85% of the population, is rather sickening and causing massive social dysfunction.  The current system is basically under the table corruption which is propagated as being beneficial to the people.  Allowing the people to exercise their voting choice once every three years and thereafter do as they're told, would indicate that democracy does not exist in NZ.  It should be remembered that after their revolution the Russians based their system, with certain adaptations, on NZ's version of socialism.  George Bernard Shaw elucidated this from the stage of the Wellington Town Hall in 1934.  Naturally the superior beings ignore the reality of history.

Today's reality?  "Hail to thee blind Caesar," mutter the more intelligent peasants through
clenched teeth.  They instinctively comprehend that one day the spin doctoring elite will be
stabbed in the forum and the hot air released will be sufficient to generate electricity for a
thousand years.  Then the Christians will actually beat the lions in contrived combat designed to appeal to the people's primitive instincts and cause them to forget their daily woes.  Now where have I heard that Colosseum philosophy before?

Two generation ago NZ had one the highest living standards in the world.  Today it's near the posterior of the nethermost half.  Human nature hasn't changed since a small percentage of tree swinging monkeys turned into politicians and spat upon the shadowy figures who supplied their peanuts under threat of something called law and order.  Therefore it would unwise to blame the people for the results of the elite's peanut brained self-enhancement.

An example of the system would appropriate.  About ten years ago a lady friend became a
civil servant.  For months she complained bitterly that her job was irrelevant and
disadvantaged the people.  While the regular pay checks were welcome, she felt guilty
because she did nothing advantageous for the people, and spent her days following her team leader along the road to civil service dependency upon public funds.  In time, her vitality and out going personality disappeared under immeasurable rules and regulations and she has no concept that the system has corrupted her thinking.  All she sees is financial security and to hell with the people who finance her lifestyle.  Rules are rules and that's all that matters.  Like the guards on Hitler's death camps, she's only doing her job and not responsible for the end result.
'It's the system, so there,' she cites in self justification.

NZ justice leaves a lot to be desired.  The system is designed to protect the system from the people and therefore their inherent honesty is unacceptable.  The courts consist of over paid barristers (attorneys) arguing obscure points of law that has little to do with the case in hand. Reality and truth don't count, the system comes first.  Guilty as charged and fined x amount for wasting our fair-haired time.  Next fine paying innocent victim please.  The politicians have given us a pay rise and we have to justify ourselves.  As always:
'It's the system, so there.'

King of the hill, top of the heap are the politicians.  Frank Sinatra got it right when he sang.
'Those little town blues, are melting away.  I want to be a part of it.  New York New York.'
If you dare challenge a politician about injustices caused by bureaucratic mindless, all you get is a load of waffle written by unthinking staffers who, like my lady friend, lack the ability to see past the end of their noses.  The politicians excuse for their weak-minded propaganda?
'It's the system, so there.'

The ultimate crime is to suggest that the system is corrupt.  Inevitably the sky will fall heavily
upon the best of noble intentions.  Your letter will be unanswered and you will go on the list
of suspected terrorists intent on blowing up parliament, and naturally it's the politicians job to protect the common people from society's radicals.  Electronic observation, credit card, bank records are used to profile you as a danger to humanity..... especially politicians.  Minor indiscretions such as blowing your nose in public (a health hazzard), or waving at the local cop (disrespect for law and order), are regarded as treasonable and if a imagined crime can be laid at your doorstep, it will be.  Despite the NZ Bill of Rights that allows the individual to pass an opinion in any form or manner, you are the lowest of the low and deserve to be locked up for many years.  This has happened on rare occasions.  The legal justification doesn't matter.
'It's the system, so there.'

There's little point in approaching the main stream media for assistance.  Attacking the
system that supports them is against their business interests.  Very sorry, but your complaint doesn't meet our editorial criteria.  Individuals seeking justice isn't national news.  You're a nobody and besides, you don't advertise with us.
'It's the system, so there.'

About three thousand people a month are leaving NZ.  While this is also happening in other
countries, isn't NZ supposed to be Godzone's honourable paradise nestling contentedly in the balmy South Pacific?  Why are the people departing the land of milk and honey?  Or is it that the stereotyped land of hope and glory has reached the stage when people are saying enough crap is enough crap?  Considering there's very little hope for the people and glory is reserved for the politicians, surely the obvious is reason enough?

The system relies upon the Jackass Mentality staying within their comfort zone and ignoring
what goes on around them.  As long as the bills are paid and there's money for a few luxuries, why should they worry about the system?  The ability to look behind the shadows is lost while staring at TV.  They shake their heads and mutter that the government runs the country. The increasing crime rate has nothing to do with them.  Lock the bastards up and throw away the key.  The Simpsons are on TV.  Go away and annoy somebody else.

The real losers are of course the politicians and the escalating numbers of weak-minded kow-towing bureaucrats.  The system has turned them into the most despicable bunch of money browsing goats NZ has ever produced.  I kid you not!  They richly deserve contempt because they care for nothing but their stomachs.  Yet if they were to treated the same way they treat the NZ people, they wouldn't know what hit them.  One can only hope that they will wake up to the day of reckoning before the blood flows.

Deadly violence in the very nature of mankind.  It always has been and it always will be.
Mabe that's why monkeys peer between the bars and laugh at mankind while scratching their backsides?  Just who is the system protecting and from what?  Is mankind the primitive monkey or perhaps the perennial excuse is:
'It's the system, so there.'

ps: Like NZ, human monkeys abound in India.
