History has always shown us the way to destroy ourselves. Ignorance is personified, thus there are always a number of countries where the leaders are historically illiterate and follow the long established path to self destruction. Let's face it, today's leaders, according to them, are natural born geniuses and know everything. But when it comes to commonsense, they are inevitably
somewhat retarded. The political rubbish promoted is alway for the "love of the people." New Zealand is a typical example.

The ingredients for successful failure are known and have been well demonstrated in recent times. Italy, Russia, Spain and Germany have all had dictators, and all failed when the people, with a little help from their friends, collectively decided enough was enough.

While I know the New Zealand situation firsthand, there are other places suffering from the same dehydration of logic and intelligence. But two and two still make four, or so I'm told.

New Zealand used to be known as Godzone but is now regarded as Helenzone. While the Prime Minister appears a lovely woman, she is a dyed in the wool socialist bent on crushing all opposition to her unrealistic demands. Probably without realising, she is walking the same path that Adolf Hitler followed to egotistical demise. The red brick road to nowhere. She is aided by tinny men
and cowardly lions seeking immortality. The wizard at the end of the road is the shame of history.

The first step to social disaster is to increase the number of bureaucrats dependent on the public payroll. This will increase the number of compliant voters. In the last six and a half years, unneeded public servants have risen by 23% in Helenzone. Buying votes?

Picking on minorities will appeal to the bulk of the voters known as the Jackass Mentality, because they are dumb enough to believe anything they're told. They live in a fantasy world and minorities are a nuisance for being different. Intolerance and closed minds?

Insidiously increasing taxes to enforce poverty, then heroically introducing allowances for families demonstrates political love for the little people? Naturally more bureaucrats are required to place ticks in little boxes. It means families have to depend upon State's charity to survive. The power game?

Introduce endless regulations to control so called adverse human behaviour. Historically, this has never worked anywhere in the world and Helenzone is no exception. Smoke will still get in your eyes.

Bump up inflationary pressures by allowing the banking system to provide unrealistic credit to consumers and at the same time reducing government debt with the revenue gathered by increasing taxes. Thus, Helenzone is financially viable and the national debt is all the people's fault for spending more than they earn? This is shrewdly taking advantage of human nature.

Lowering education standards will ensure the young don't realise what is happening to them. This will guarantee future compliancy. Banning parents disciplining their children gives the young unrealistic expectations and no responsibilities. Whatever sins they commit, are always somebody else's fault.

Make common day things illegal and locking more people up in prison will demonstrate that Helenzone is looking after Mr Average. It also helps to rid the streets of undesirable people who insist upon thinking for themselves. The Gulags of Russia and Hitler's concentration camps spring to mind.

Insist upon very high health standards to enable the people to live longer and at the same time limit funding of public hospitals. This means Helenzone can say we're doing our best but despite having a massive budget surplus, we will have to increase taxes again. It also means people will buy private health insurance and leave more money for Helenzone to play with. Money is power.

New Zealand is a small and isolated country. It has no strategic importance and contributes little to the world economy. Other countries have their own problems and couldn't care less about the potential demise of honesty and decency down under.

Today's politics is not about helping the common people. It's about the insidious gaining and exercising of egotistical power.

The path to self destruction is well recorded. Many thousands of civilisations have come and gone, and always for the same reason. History and the red brick road always wins the battle of egos. Ask the Wizard of Oz.

The government of the day exists.
To make things come to pass.
But with history showing up their faults.
