In the beginning, the end was in sight before the middle destroyed it.

"Damnant quod non intelligunt." (They condemn what they do not understand.)

It is obvious that the end is nigh for New Zealand. We are familiar with NZ's beginning because our socialistic history is well documented. So why have our centre ground chronicles turned NZ into a social and economical disaster?

Today is the 30/1/08, and there have been ten murders so far this year and lawyers are reporting more people are considering divorce or die options. Blamed for everything, global warming is regarded as inevitable but apart from normal fluctuations, the climate hasn't altered at all. Perhaps it's yet another political tactic to frighted us naive natives into blind obedience and provide another tax base for political rapacity?

NZ was an extremely violent country when I was a boy. I used to punch the hell out of other kids and there was perhaps one murder a year. We had about 2.5 million people against today's 4.1 million politically incorrect law breakers. Statistically speaking and all things being moderate, we're due for about 130 murders in 2008. Since my violent youth the population has risen about 40% but murders are up 1300%.

As a people exporting nation we must be doing something right. Imagine the number of murders in the last thirty years if the 1,000,000 people that have moved offshore had stayed in Godzone. We might even make 200 murders year, and as our police rarely carry firearms,
they can hardly be accused of murdering so many people. Obviously, private citizen murders are the "in thing" in our humbug society.

Murderers seem to be getting younger. In days gone by, domestic displeasure was the main
reason for murder but today many murders are socially unwarranted. The drug "P" is prevalent and causes harebrained actions by insane dope-heads. Young people rob the local dairy, stab the shop assistant to death and then give the Nazi salute to the TV cameras in the courtroom.

In days of old when commonsense was bold, you asked the dairy owner if you could pay next week for your packet of Spearmint chewing gum. No one ever considered killing the local Punjab for a few shillings and a bottle of coke. What would be the point? You'd lose your 2d refund on the coke bottle and miss out on the free curry and rice at Christmas.

One thing I've noticed is that the more rules and regulation propagated, the more bizarre and
objectionable human behaviour becomes. Almost twenty years ago physical discipline in
schools was banned and tutors were unable to promote commonsense, honesty and decency.
The kids soon realised they were bullet proof and the
'we're taking over the world' rampage
started and has expanded ever since.  Education standards declined and it wasn't long before
the kids lost the art of thinking for themselves. Politicians thought this was brilliant and

changed the curriculum to annex blind obedience to their "people control systems."  Semi-illiterate school leavers armed with useless pieces of paper had a choice of low paid dead-end jobs or a do as you're told career in a government department, council, bank or insurance company. Inevitably, the bright people left NZ and no, they won't be coming back for low paid jobs, the highest taxes and interest rates in the civilised world and a home they will never be able to afford.

"Any fool can create a law.  But if it's stupid, only fools will follow it."  Broughton

With the outlawing of commonsense and decency NZ society has slid backwards at an ever increasing rate. Many crimes we take for granted today were unheard of forty years ago. The multiplying George Orwell style mind control laws are causing massive problems and the no smacking Little Johnny law is laughable.  Physically disciplining Little Johnny taught him the values he needed to survive in an increasingly complicated world.  Knowing the difference between right and wrong was to everybody's advantage.  But the no physical discipline laws have caused many thousands of social misfits to extend violent revenge on their peers. Home invasions, drug taking, extreme sex crimes and violent assault without rhyme nor reason are now an everyday occurrence.

The no smoking laws are just one example of mindless propaganda shoved down the public's throat. Contrary to what we are officially told, smoking doesn't necessarily cause cancer or heart disease. Inherited genes are the major cause of such premature deaths. Providing you don't over do things, both smoking and drinking are relatively harmless. But as always, there are exceptions.  However, the medical profession isn't over enthusiastic about backing the politician's doublespeak. The government spin doctors are tongue in cheek experts at telling Goebbels type smoking lies, but aren't silly enough to believe them.

Obviously with behaviour standards deteriorating and the public expected to believe in political correctness and with the power of reasoning virtually outlawed, we should not be surprised at the short attention span and violent outbursts of today's youth.  We all know that bad habits learned while young will last their lengthening lifetime. So expect an increasing crime rate in the years to come.

Even retired people can see the deterioration of society's values and are leaving NZ in droves.
Signing up for the old age pension is farcical with the welfare people doing their best to find
technical reasons not to oblige. You pay taxes all your life and it's sickening to realise the system is designed to find ways to steal your compulsory savings.  Perhaps KiwiSaver is just another way of languishing your money?

Thirty years ago you needed above average intelligence to be a civil servant. Today you need to be as thick as a concrete block, twice as dumb and preferably ethnic to be offered government employment. It's an under the table way of reducing welfare numbers and the politicians being able to shout,
"unemployed numbers are down. Aren't we brilliant?"

Another way to get people off welfare is less than honest. Thousands have described the method used as official corruption.  Totally against the entire concept of helping the deserving needy, unprincipled regulations have been invented to deny benefits to those who have an employed partner or flatmate.  If for example, you partner works two hours a week, it's goodbye to a benefit if you're sick or unemployed.  Never mind the injustice, extreme poverty and increased crime this legislation creates.  The politicians don't give a stuff about society's unfortunates and those affected don't get a say.  Recently a young lady killed her newborn baby because she couldn't afford to raise the child as there was no benefits for unmarried mothers.  Is this democracy in action?

Have a look in your local WINZ office and note the lack of mature pen pushers.  Most older people think for themselves and are not wanted by the Public Service.  But with the second highest imprisonment rate in the world, the NZ Prison Service will hire older people. They prefer ex military personnel because they are already fully brainwashed "Yes Sir" people.

"The first sign of corruption in a society that is still alive is that the end justifies the means.
" Georges Bernanos

Sadly there's no room in today's economy for the older person who knows the difference between right and wrong. Understanding reality is a no-no in government's massively increased and largely unnecessary work force.  As a condition of their employment the politically appointed civil servants lack the vision to see beyond the end of their bureaucratic noses.  But they think they are geniuses.  One must also consider why private enterprise CEO's complain about the lack of available talent when they refuse to hire older people? Perhaps, there are none so blind as those who will not see, should be regarded as appropriate?

Just where are the thinking, older people politically deemed unemployable, spending their officially enforced leisure time?  Remember that they're too bright to work for government or private enterprise. If they tell the truth, they're possibly denied a benefit.  Maybe they sit at home twiddling their thumbs and waiting for a change in the political climate?  The deceitful system treats them with contempt but at least they've spent their lifetime practising commonsense, honesty and decency.  But don't expect them to give their lives to defend New Zealand.  Such mindless patriotism is for the brainwashed
